After some thought I’ve decided to merge my photo blog – Mom Snaps – with this blog. It just makes sense to me since my photos are more snapshots from our everyday lives. Nothing artsy or anything. I thought I would try to get into PhotoShop and spending hours tinkering with photos. I found out that I really just enjoy taking pictures and not really worrying about lighting, framing, etc.
Combining the blogs was something I thought was going to be very difficult. It wasn’t. WordPress has a plugin that makes this very easy. Just export the old blog and import into the new one. My only hangup was an error about creating a directory but that was on my hosting end as they had changed servers since the last time I uploaded anything. I made that correction in the settings and the import went fine.
This really shows me that I need to do more with my blog on the technical side. It has become really simple to carry out some tasks. Combining blogs was a lot less frustrating than I imagined.
